happy belated birthday

Ann and Christian called yesterday to report the birth of 9 lbs. and 4 oz. of baby boy. Dylan Jacob is reportedly pink, beautiful and 22 inches long -- something he has in common with Barbie's Dream Corvette, which should give him a good start in life. Mom, Dad and baby are all healthy, happy and exhausted.

Um, as I was reading this the second time I noticed that you said Dylan Jacob. Did they change their mind? They were originally going with Dylan James.

If it makes you feel any better, that's exactly how I felt when I was told the first time that I was misspelling Brendan. (the second time my computer named them by putting them into a file that I had named long ago.) But I felt like a total asshat.

Sometimes these things happen though, and I don't think you should feel bad. Just send and "oops!" email and it should be all good.
